Halloween!

This is the my kids and the kids from church. Sadie pitched a fit and wouldn't put her costume on, LOL. Well at least I got a picture of her earlier this month trying it on. We set up decorated cars around the parking lot at church and let the kids trick or treat, to keep them safe. We also cook hot dogs and play games. credits: all items are from Smell My Feet by Shabby Princess, except the glitter frames, those are by Karah at TDC in her grabbag. template by janet phillips.

This is another in my installment of layouts of the people in my life. This is Rhonda, she goes to my church. They have some great challenges and I WON last week for my Beautiful Delaney in the Fall layout (a few posts down). I won a Jen Caputo gift certificate and I got some great templates. My Little Flowers

I adore this picture of Brooke and Sadie, I took it the other night when they were watching TV and this is how I caught them. I wish so much that I had a sister, but I'm so glad that they have each other. They already fight, but I catch them in sweet moments like this all the time.

Love My Family

I just love this layout and wanted to post it on my blog. This is my family on the day that Sadie was born, December 22, 2005. Butterflies and ribbon are from the Blessings kit at http://www.scrapartist.com/ the stamped frame is by Jessica Sprague and the flower overlay, background paper, and journalling box is by Scrapkitchen Designs at http://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/ The kit name escapes me because it was an exclusive kit to http://www.disctalkradio.com/

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS!

This month is very special to me! Even though she died from another type of cancer, my grandmother battled with breast cancer for years. Every year, my mother finds cysts that are not cancerous, but they test her every time and we sit on pins and needles praying that it's not cancer. There is a benefit contest at SOTB with four challenges starting October 14, info on that contest can be found here: http://www.scrapoutsidethebox.com/forums/showthread.php?p=46805#post46805 There is a special mega kit that all proceeds will go towards the American Cancer Society here: http://www.scrapoutsidethebox.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=239&products_id=5833
Please support this cause and go buy the kit and participate in the contest! Grand prize is a 300 G External Hard Drive!!!
This layout of my grandmother is done using the mega kit. This is also one of the freebie quickpages for attending the crop!

The Lovely Miss Ginger

Looking back through my scrapbooks, I find there are just pages and pages of my kids, a few of my parents, a few of me, but there are VERY few of other people in my life that I love and that mean alot to me. So I'm going to fix that problem starting now, starting with a very dear friend of mine, Ginger Massengill. Ginger is beautiful, inside and out. She would do anything in the world for me and my children and is such a wonderful mother to her own two kids (who I'll be scrapping later :). I plan on doing another matching page to this one with just journalling, but I don't think I'll post that one (too much personal info in it). This layout was made using the new charity kit For Laura at http://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/

Prettified Layout!

Ok, this layout is of my daughter and MY dad going to the Father-Daughter Dance at Valentine's this year. Her dad backed out on her so her grandaddy was sweet enough to take her and he even danced with her, LOL. I was excited cause she let me curl her hair and put a ribbon in it and she looked beautiful in her red and black dress. She was wearing my white/gold shawl. She kept telling me she was grown up now. I used Sarah Kendall's Prettified Kit from http://www.scrapoutsidethebox.com/. The layout was inspired by Kami's Make Mine a Double challege sketch at SOTB also.
